Today Okayplayer announced The Soul Rebels’ special guests to join them next month at Brooklyn Bowl as part of their annual three night residency. The Soul Rebels are excited to bring hip hop icons Melle Mel, Raekwon, Rakim, Jarobi (of Tribe Called Quest), Consequence & surprise guests along for the ride. On March 4, The Soul Rebels will celebrate and perform the music of Nas, Lauryn Hill, Jay Z & Notorious B.I.G. In support of the Brooklyn Bowl residency, Okayplayer has premiered a new Soul Rebels original entitled “Try, Try, Try (Just Try)” via Souncloud.
